Criticisms

"The Most Dangerous Game" is notable as a short story for its various but not commonly noticed plot holes. The hunter tells the man that no person knows of the island, yet his estate is well supplied for no other people to know about it. The lighthouse is functional which indicates a generator which must be resupplyed with fuel to continue being lit. The estate is also too large to be maintained by those listed in the story. It cannot be that he has so much yet we are told that nobody who visits the island leaves alive.
