The Mello-Moods
The Mello-Moods are an R&B band from the late 1940s to mid-1950s. Composed of teenagers, the group's music was nontheless focused on an adult market. The group is considered to be notable among R&B for being one of the first prominent youth bands. After the band broke up in 1953, several of the members went to join another band, the Solitaires.
