The Mad Show
The Mad Show is a successful off-Broadway musical revue based on Mad Magazine. Its music is by Mary Rodgers, with various lyricists -among them Marshall Barer, Steven Vinaver, and Stephen Sondheim. The original cast included Linda Lavin, Jo Anne Worley, Paul Sand, Dick Libertini, and MacIntyre Dixon. It opened January 9, 1966, at the New Theatre, and ran for 871 performances.
