The Lost World (TV series)
The Lost World television series was a show based on the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Doyle is famous for writing the Sherlock Holmes series.

The show aired in 1999 and had three successful seasons until 2002 when the show was cancelled. The three seasons were released in DVD box sets through 2004.

Michael Smirknoff was featured in the show's first season but was killed in the season finale. He did return as a ghost in an episode in season two.
