The Long Good Friday (1980) is a British gangster film starring Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren.

The film was directed by John Mackenzie from a script by Barrie Keefe. It was originally produced by ITC, who later attempted to bury the film. The rights were then bought by George Harrison's company Handmade Films.
