The Lady Eve is a 1941 romantic screwball comedy film which tells the story of a couple who meet on shipboard, but break up due to a misunderstanding. She returns in disguise to torment him. It stars Barbara Stanwyck, Henry Fonda, Charles Coburn, Eugene Pallette and William Demarest.
