The Island (2005 film)
The Island (2005) is a science fiction film released by DreamWorks SKG on July 22, 2005. Directed by Michael Bay, it stars Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson. The screenplay was written by Caspian Tredwell-Owen, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
Websites
There has been considerable effort put into the official The Island series of websites. Aside from the real movie site there is also a website for the fictional company Merrick Biotech. When visiting, the entrance page will appear to be "hacked" and directs visitors to Clonewatch.org, a convincing site reminiscent of Bonsai Kitten.
