The Inquisitorial Squad

The Inquisitorial Squad is a fictional organisation in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

The squad was founded by Dolores Umbridge in order to exercise greater control of Hogwarts, and included the children of some of her friends at the Ministry such as Lucius Malfoy's son Draco Malfoy. Their badge was a small silver "I" worn on the chest. Members of the Inquisitorial Squad had the ability to take away points from the school houses, a power which they often abused.

The squad could be seen as the evil equivalent to Dumbledore's Army, as Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters could be seen as an evil equivalent to the Order of the Phoenix.
