The Infamous is a Keenspace hosted comedy/action/adventure webcomic drawn by Richard Dotson, going under the pen-name 'RichieD.', that debuted on July 30, 2002 and still running. Currently the comic is undergoing a restart and a genre change from its first attempt at sci-fi.

The first series (which the author now dubs as Future Jam) took place in the future and followed the exploits of Rich Downer and his micro-chip inhanced dog, Rolly, two meteor hitters (spaceship pilots who destory meteors that get close to Earth) who find themselves in trouble after wreaking another spaceship's engine by running into it. The ship's owner, E.G Chemical, puts them in her debt and forces them to stay on her ship until it is fixed. But more problems arise when the trio gets pulled into Earth's gravity field and crash land, where they immediately run into more trouble with wasteland bandits. After fighting them off, the three begin their journey to the nearest city to get parts for their ship. Also there was a subplot involving an organization known as Starshine Inc. that seemed to hint at world domination. But the series was put on hiatus and ultimately left unfinished. Instead this led into the second series the author has named as the Cit-Burbs Saga, currently under development. The only thing known about this new series is that it takes place in a more modern timeline and introduces a new character named Shorty Caka.
