The Group (society)

The Group is a generic reference to the notorious troupe of wisecracking, Generation X misfits that was founded in Cleveland, Ohio in the early 1990s. While The Group has no formal organization and vehemently denies its own existence, it is rumored to operate throughout the United States via a scattered array of appointed Members, Auxiliary Members and Semi-Retirees. Its operations, once believed to be centered around an implausible strategy for global domination, nowadays consist primarily of various acts of drunken frivolity, self loathing and random stupidity (a combination known amongst The Group's inner circle by the self-coined term "Ridiculosity").
