The Girls Next Door is an eight-part reality television series on E! Entertainment network in late summer 2005. It is the brainchild of executive producer Kevin Burns and Hugh Hefner. The series focused on the lives of Hefner's three girlfriends who are living with him at the Playboy Mansion: Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, with Hefner making cameo appearances in each episode. Various Playmates and playmate hopefuls also have cameo appearances.
