The Gauntlet is the sixth film directed by and starring Clint Eastwood, who went on to receive Academy Awards for Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby. An action picture about a cop who must transport a witness from Las Vegas to Phoenix, it also stars Sondra Locke, Pat Hingle, William Prince, and Bill McKinney.
