The Funeral (album)
According to unconfirmed speculation on the Internet and in some hip-hop periodicals, The Funeral would be a double disc greatest hits album by rapper Eminem to be released in late 2005. Rumors say it would contain four new tracks, three of them titled "The Funeral" and featuring guest rappers (Bizarre, Dr. Dre and Obie Trice, with a fourth, Dre-produced track titled "Where I'm Standing (In The Game)." The album would put to rest his various personas (Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers and Eminem) and clear the way for a new career path.

The rumors took on new life in July 2005 when a front-page story in the Detroit Free Press reported that the hip-hop superstar was planning to end his career as a rap frontman, citing sources within Eminem's inside circle. However he has officially stated that he will not retire at this moment.
