The Fog
The Fog is a 1980 horror movie directed by John Carpenter, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music of the film. It stars Adrienne Barbeau, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Atkins and Jamie's mother Janet Leigh.
2005 Remake
The 2005 remake of The Fog is a horror movie directed by Rupert Wainwright (Stigmata), with the screenplay by Cooper Layne (The Core) based on John Carpenter and Debra Hill's original screenplay. It stars Selma Blair, Maggie Grace, Tom Welling and Rade Serbedzija and is produced by John Carpenter (as well as Debra Hill, who died shortly before filming began - John Carpenter and Debra Hill wrote the original). The film was green lit by Revolution Studios with only eighteen pages of the script written. Graeme Revell will compose the music. His background includes "The Crow", "From Dusk Til Dawn", "The Craft", "Spawn", "Titan A.E.", "Blow", "Freddy Vs. Jason"" and most recently, "Sin City". It is not known if it will be at all based on John Carpenter's original score.
