The Farmer's Daughter
The Farmer's Daughter is a 1947 movie which tells the story of a small-town girl from Minnesota who moves to Washington, DC to work as a housekeeper for her local Congressman. Taken with her political savvy, the Congressman falls in love with her. It stars Loretta Young, Joseph Cotten, Ethel Barrymore, Agatha Morley, Charles Bickford, Rose Hobart, Lex Barker, Keith Andes and James Arness.
