~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Like LOOM and Full Throttle, The Dig is a more serious game, lacking the outright slapstick humor to be found in most of the LucasArts adventures (even, to a small extent, the Indiana Jones games). It is also the only one of the LucasArts adventures that fits in the science fiction genre. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The DIG starts with a Radio Station in Borneo picking up an unidentified object, directly heading towards Earth. It is a giant asteroid, and will cause catastrophic damage if it hits. A team of five is made to go up into Space Shuttle Atlantis to halt the asteroid (which is named Attila after Attila the Hun).
