The Dancers at the End of Time

The Dancers at the End of Time is a series of science fiction books and short stories by Michael Moorcock set at the end of a dying earth, though due to time travel various eras are visited and revisited during the course of the series. The inhabitants of the End of Time are decadent and amoral, creating flights of fancy using power rings. The mise-en-scene of the books bears a strong resemblance to that of Jack Vance's Dying Earth stories.

• The Transformation of Miss Mavis Ming (novel, also titled A Messiah At The End of Time; a rewrite of the novella, Constant Fire, published 1977)
• Elric at the End of Time (short story, published in the short story collection Elric at the End of Time in 1984)
• The Murderer's Song (short story, connected to the Jerry Cornelius universe, published in Casablanca and The New Nature of the Catastrophe)

Legends from the End of Time, The Transformation of Miss Mavis Ming, Elric at the End of Time and The Murderer's Song, are set while Jherek Carnelian is absent from the End of Time.
