The Black Camel
The Black Camel (1929) is the fourth, and least remarkable, of the Charlie Chan novels by Earl Derr Biggers. It tells the story of a Hollywood star, shooting a film on location in Hawaii, who is murdered during her stay. Chan, in his position as a detective with the Honolulu Police Department, solves the case. An enjoyable, if rather bland, entry in the series.
