The Anschutz Corporation
The Anschutz Corporation was started by Philip Anschutz in 1965 and was initially involved in oil and gas drilling. Over the years Mr. Anschutz has diversified his interests which today includes the Anschutz Entertainment Group and a controlling interest in the Regal Entertainment Group. The corporation itself is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Anschutz Company, along with the Anschutz Investment Company, which is a holding company for Mr. Anschutz investments in over 100 companies.
