The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers

The Galaxy Rangers was a daily syndicated show with western and sci fi themes. Set in the frontier of 2086, the Galaxy Rangers are founded due to an intergalatic threat known as the Crown Empire, led by the evil Queen of Crowns. Two peaceful aliens journey to Earth seeking Earh's help in exchange they gave the technology to Earths 1st hyperdrive to travel the galaxy.

Leading the Galaxy Rangers is family man Captain Zachary Foxx. The Zachary Foxx's life is turned upside down when the pirate Captain Blood hijacks his starship, which at the time his wife Eliza and children Jessica and Zach Jr are aboard. Everyone manages to escape, but Eliza is held captive and sold to the Queen, who takes her life-force into a Psychocrystal. With her collection of Psychocrystals, the Queen can form an army of slaves in her quest to conquer the Universe.

Returning to Earth Zach's treated for his severe wounds he received during the escape. The left half of his torso was replaced with bio-technology, giving him a super-strong arm that could fire powerful blasts. Thus outfitted, Zach became the leader of the ?Series 5? Rangers?four crimefighters who could access superior powers by pressing the badges on their chests. The rest of the group consisted of psychic alien Niko from the planet Xanadu, genius hacker Walter ?Doc? Hartford and the crew?s pilot, Shane ?Goose? Gooseman. Goose was a ?Supertrooper,? part of an android army that went berserk and turned on their human creators. Still sympathizing with the human cause, Goose was allowed to join the Rangers, but only on the condition that he hunt down his fellow Supertroopers.

The Rangers worked under the authority of BETA?the Bureau of Extra-Terrestrial Affairs?which was led by Commander Joseph Walsh and tactician Dr. Nagata (whose body was gone, but whose brain was preserved). Riding into battle on talking ?Cybersteeds,? the Rangers fought off the power-mad Queen, her advisor Lazarus Slade and other villains like Supertrooper Ryker Killbane and renegade MaCross? Black Hole Gang.
