The Adam and Joe Show

The Adam and Joe Show is a British comedy television show, written and presented by Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish ('Adam and Joe'), which ran for four series on Channel 4. The show took the form of short, condensed sketches interspersed with links filmed in what was purportedly Adam and Joe's bedsit in Brixton. Although the two comedians were involved in other projects before and after it was aired, The Adam and Joe Show is their most popular and known creation, and its unique brand of humor gained a cult following with young twenty-somethings.

Often described as one of the definitive pop culture parodies of recent times, the show included numerous send ups of films such as The English Patient and Titanic as well as popular television shows such as Friends and ER. The principle form of these lampoons was a simple form of marionette using stuffed toys. These 'toymovies', along with stop motion Star Wars parodies with 80s action figures, were the most popular parts of the show, and Adam and Joe themselves have said they were fun to produce and are eager to continue working on them in some form.
