Terry and June

Terry and June was a popular British sitcom, broadcast on the BBC from 1979 to 1987. It starred Terry Scott and June Whitfield as a married couple set in Purley, London. The sitcom's format was to set up an argument between the two eponymous protagonists, often with a household task (for example, delivering a bulky item, changing a lightbulb or rewiring a plug). Terry would get angry at June's constant (if admittedly annoying) love for sensible economy, hiring qualified contractors and planning but he would always get his comeuppance; June always won their clashes.
