Terre Haute House

The Terre Haute House is a historic former hotel located in downtown Terre Haute, Indiana. It has been considered a faded reminder of Terre Haute's past as a midwestern "Sin City" and, in the years since its closure, it has been viewed by many as an impediment to downtown revitalization.

The Renaissance Revival-style 10-story building is situated on the northwest corner of Seventh Street and Wabash Avenue, an intersection known as the historic "Crossroads of America", because it was the first junction of U.S. Highway 40 and U.S. Highway 41, both major highways.
