Tempted

"Tempted" was the second single released from Squeeze's fourth album, East Side Story. Though it failed to crack the Top 40 in the UK, over the years "Tempted" has become Squeeze's most widely-known song. It has been covered numerous times, including versions by Sting and Joe Cocker. In the 1990's, "Tempted" was used in a successful US ad campaign for Burger King. In 1993, a new version of "Tempted" was recorded for the soundtrack to the film Reality Bites. This version received some radio airplay and was dubbed "Tempted 94."
