HUGE room available every Week Tuesday - Friday (excelsior / outer mission) $49 1bd
Located in the lively mission district, my room is big, spacious and has plenty of ammenities (television, internet among other things). The room is at the end of the house, meaning plenty of privacy and the bathroom is right next door. I do have four other roommates in the house, three on top, myself and another on the bottom floor. Everybody is 420 friendly, chill, all college types and age, even though only two of us actually go to college. My room is about 14x10, there are two windows which get plentiful light, my bed is queen sized, has satin sheets, and is super comfy and soft. There is a giant, foldout bed, couch in my room as well. If you are just traveling abroad and need a place to crash, this is the perfect opportunity. Or if you simply need a place to stay, this is it. It's located right off of Mission St, near Walgreens, too many taquerias, Burger King, RadioShack, Gamestop, two liquor stores, Wells Fargo, and Washington Mutual. -If interested I will send you pictures, and the address-
John Hodgman in BBtv's SPAMasterpiece Theater.
BBtv is launching a series of episodes featuring author, PC, and minor television personality John Hodgman, as the world waits breathlessly for the launch of his new book, MORE INFORMATION THAN YOU REQUIRE . We have read it, dear viewer, and it is splendid. Today, the debut installment of Boing Boing tv's SPAMASTERPIECE THEATER, which Hodgman himself describes as the dramatization of "true tale[s] of romance, adventure, infamy, and low-cost prescription drugs, all culled from the reams of actual, unsolicited emails, received here by us and people like you -- what we call SPAM." We'll be releasing more of these in the coming weeks. Each one is composed exclusively of actual, unadulterated, unsolicited email. Like virtual raw foodists, we would not think of cooking perfect fruit that falls so gracefully from the internet's tree of life. We hope you enjoy. { fade to black, fade in Hodgman in the library chair, surrounded by spam ephemera } Link to Boing Boing tv blog post with downloadable video and instructions on how to subscribe to our daily video podcast, which you really ought to do. A note from our musical director: The adaptation of Jean-Joseph Mouret's "Rondeau: Fanfare" (1735) which opens today's episode was remixed in flagrante 8-bit by Hamhocks Buttermilk Johnson....

The Munsters, America?s most frighteningly funny family, have continued to attract some of the most loyal television program fans over the past 40 years, a pretty impressive feat considering the show only ran for 38 episodes. Similar to the characters on The Munsters, these fans aren?t your normal fans who are satisfied merely watching the syndicated programs on television. Oleg Krylov who grew up with The Munsters says, "We Munsters fans are nearly as wacky as the characters themselves". The term enthusiastic is an understatement for The Munsters fans, some of whom have even gone to the great lengths of building homes that are exact replicas of the Munsters house as well as cars that look exactly like the Grandpa?s coffin shaped "Dragula" dragster.Fans celebrate The Munsters 40th year at 1313 Mockingbird Lane this September, with the introduction of the first ever, The Munsters Halloween collectible village.
