Tecate (beer)
Tecate is a popular Mexican beer named for the town of Tecate where it was originally produced. Originally brewed by a local company, it was acquired in 1955 by Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, now FEMSA Cerveza. It is sold in both distinctive red aluminium tins and in twist-top bottles.
