A tea room is a variety of caf? found particularly in England, but also present in other parts of the UK, as well as Australia, India, New Zealand, and some other Commonwealth countries.

A customer might expect to receive a cream tea or Devonshire tea, often served from a china set, and a scone with jam and clotted cream – alternatively a High tea may be served.
