The TIFR has a large library with more than 100,000 books and journals. It also has a powerful central computing facility and is connected to the world grid by high speed communication networks. The institute is one of the few in India which provides facility of a liquid helium for very low temperature experimental studies in Physics. National facility for high field NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) is also located at the Institute, which houses the high field NMR spectrometers.
