Taronga Zoo
Taronga Zoo is the city zoo of Sydney, Australia. It is located on the shores of Sydney Harbour in Mosman. In February, 2003 it became the second zoo in Australia to breed the platypus. It's truly 'more than a zoo', in fact, two zoos. Taronga is linked to Dubbo's Western Plains Zoo in terms of breeding programs and such. A scenic cable car allows the visitor to get a good picture of the zoo and its magnificent surroundings.
