Tarkett is today one of the largest producers and distributors of resilient floorings worldwide. Tarkett has a global workforce of approximately 7,000 employees. Its corporate headquarters is in Frankenthal. In 2004 their sales were approximately 1.434 billion Euro. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Now a multinational company the firm was started in 1872 as the Dominion Oil Cloth Company later Domco in Farnham, Quebec. The present day company is the result of numerous mergers and acquisitions across Europe and North America.
