Tang Soo Do
Tangsoodo or Tang Soo Do (唐手道 / 당수도, Sino-Korean: The Way of the Tang Fist) is a popular Korean martial art that has been largely incorporated into Taekwondo.
Name
After it was created, Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do was originally called Hwa Soo Do (花手道 / 화수도) or Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do (武德館唐手道 / 무덕관당수도). Today the Moo Duk Kwan style is referred to as Soo Bahk Do.

Most (nearly all) modern Tang Soo Do stylists trace their lineage back to the Moo Duk Kwan, in some form.

The first recorded usage of the term "Tang Soo Do" in contemporary history was by Chung Do Kwan founder, Lee- Won Kuk. The Chung Do Kwan ceased using the name when it was incorporated into Taekwondo.
