Tahir-ul-Qadri

Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri or محمد طاہر القادری (b.February 19, 1951) is a famous writer, poet, religious scholar, political scientist, educationist, social reformer and human rights activist of the Islamic World.

The Writer

He has authored well over a thousand books and pamphlets covering a very wide range of topics including religion, law, international affairs, political science, contemporary issues and modern science to name a few. Most of his books have been written in Urdu, English and Arabic, although many of them have been translated in other languages. His specialty is to present solutions to contemporary problems in the light of Islamic sources of guidance Qur'an (القرآن), Sun'nah (السنہ) and Fiqh(الفقہ).
