Taboo Tuesday

WWE Taboo Tuesday is an annual pay-per-view event held by World Wrestling Entertainment. The first event was for the first time ever, a fully interactive pay-per-view. It was also the first ever Pay-Per-View WWE have held on a Tuesday since Tuesday In Texas instead of a Sunday.

On this pay-per-view, the public have the opportunity to decide the matches, stipulations, championship contenders as well as the type of match that will be held via WWE.com. The voting for the first event started during the October 18, 2004 edition of RAW and finished during Taboo Tuesday on October 19, 2004.

The WWE has decided to push future editions of this pay-per-view event back a few weeks due to disappointing buy rates and general fan apathy, largely due to the fact that the pay-per-view aired opposed by Game 6 of the American League Championship Series between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
