T.J. Hooker
T.J. Hooker was a weekly police drama that premiered in 1982 on ABC-TV and ran on ABC primetime through 1985. The show starred William Shatner in the title role along with Heather Locklear and Adrian Zmed as uniformed officers. Although the show was popular with viewers, it was derided by many critics and real-life police officers for its "by the numbers" approach to drama and its cliched portrayal of police work.
