Sylvia (band)

Sylvia was formed by Riz Story and Taylor Hawkins. They were also joined by Sean Murphy on guitars. Story wrote 90% of the material for this highly progressive art rock outfit that seemed destined for supreme greatness. The band ended and Hawkins joined bubblegum crooner Alanis Morrisette. Story stuck to his guns and created Anyone which went on to achieve cult status around the world with its highly intoxicating Maxium Acid Style. Many of the songs played by Sylvia became Anyone songs.
