Syllabus
Syllabus (plural syllabi or syllabuses) is a document with an outline and summary of topics to be covered in a course. It is often prepared by the professor who teaches the course and is usually given to each student during the first class session. A syllabus usually contains specific information about the course, such as information on how, where and when to contact the lecturer and teaching assistants; an outline of what will be covered in the course; a schedule of test dates and the due dates for assignments; the grading policy for the course; specific classroom rules; etc. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Exams can only test based on information included in the syllabus. Often they include statements of the sort: ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 3.4.14 Explain the stability of the benzene molecule in terms of delocalisation of electrons. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Document: For the R.E.M. album, see: Document (album)... Outline: An outline is a prose telling of a story intended to be turned into a screenplay. It is generally longer and more detailed than a treatment but shorter and less detailed than a step outline.... Summary: A summary, synopsis, or recap is a shorter version of the original. Such a simplification highlights the major points from the much longer subject, such as a text, speech, film, or event. The purpose is to help the audience get the gist in a short period of time.... | ~ Table of Content ~
