It is also interesting to note that the current Chancellors of two of Australia's most notable universities - University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales - are Old Sydneians (Kim Santow and David Gonski, respectively).

Another incidental fact of interest is that the current Attorney General of NSW (Bob Debus) and the Shadow Attorney General of NSW (Andrew Tink) were teacher and student at Sydney Grammar, respectively.
