Sweetbox
Sweetbox, a German pop group, was formed in 1995, by producer Geo. In their first year, Sweetbox published their first song "Booyah Here We Go," performed by front woman Kimberley Kearney. In the following year, Sweetbox released another song, "Shakalaka," which was performed by a new front woman, Decia Bridges. In 1997 Sweetbox found great success with another front woman, Tina Harris, and their song "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" became a hit and that album was published in 47 countries.

In 1998, the group quit from the stage while in 1999, Jade Villalon joined the group and the style of Sweetbox was then changed. The group's songs were then mostly composed on the basis of classical music.

In spring of 2001, Sweetbox's second album, Classified, was released in Europe and Asia. The album reached Gold status shortly after release in Japan. The album was also a success in central and eastern Europe and eastern Asia. Later that year, Sweetbox toured in Japan.

In fall of 2002, Sweetbox released a third album, Jade. The album was only released in Asia, and Sweetbox's success in Japan continued. In Europe, however, Sweetbox released the single, "Here On My Own," from the album, and the group performed the single in Germany. In 2003, the album was re-released in Japan and titled Jade Silver Edition. This album included acoustic versions and remixes to songs from the Jade album, as well as a DVD with music videos. Also, Sweetbox toured Japan once again, called the Jade Tour.

In 2003, Jade from Sweetbox recorded the songs "real Emotion" and "1000 Words" for the video game, Final Fantasy X-2. These songs were later included on Sweetbox's fourth album, Adagio, released in early 2004 in Asia and promotionally in Europe. Shortly after the release of Adagio, Sweetbox toured Japan in their Testimony Tour.

Later in 2004, Sweetbox released two albums, After The Lights in Japan, and 13 Chapters in Europe and Taiwan. After The Lights included 9 new songs plus 4 bonus tracks, 3 of which were Christmas songs. 13 Chapters included the 9 new songs from After The Lights, as well as 5 tracks from Adagio. In December of 2004, Sweetbox toured Japan in their After The Lights Tour and performed in Seoul, South Korea, in a New Year concert.

In 2005, Sweetbox released their Greatest Hits album in Japan, which contained a new version of Everything's Gonna Be Alright, titled Everything's Gonna Be Alright -Reborn-. The group also released Best of Sweetbox in Europe and South Korea. These albums celebrate 10 years of Sweetbox's international success. Sweetbox also plans to perform in Japan, probably in Tokyo, to celebrate this anniversary as well.

The music magazine FONO crowned Sweetbox as the "No. 1 Cross-Boarder Artist."

In Taiwan, the singing group S.H.E covered quite a few of their works.

In 2005, Sweetbox's song, World Without Frontiers, a remix to the song, Hate Without Frontiers, and another song, Addicted, were featured in commercials for Subaru Legacy in Japan.
