Sweet Home (video game)
Suito Homu, or Sweet Home in English, is a survival horror RPG released for the Famicom(the Japanese NES) in Japan. It was produced by Capcom and released in 1989. Though more of an RPG, the game is considered by many to be the first survival horror video game, and was admittedly a big influence on the famous Resident Evil series.

Sweet Home is written in Japanese and was only released in the Japan market (perhaps due to scary and violent contents contained within the game). Nevertheless, this game was a big hit at the time, mostly owing its success to the game's unique and creative because of features like unique skills, five different endings(depending on how many of the team survive), large enviorments, scary atmosphere, et cetera.
