Despite the disappointing performance of the first series, ITV decided to commission a second one, with some changes. Presenters Mark Austin and John Leslie were axed, and replaced by Channel 4 cricket presenter Mark Nicholas. There were twelve contestants instead of sixteen, the show was scheduled in a later time slot, and was set in Panama. The series was won by Jonny Gibb. Ratings were still disappointing, and so ITV decided to axe the show completely.
