Wilson, William Malone and Daniel Chuba and directed by Walter Hill credited as Thomas Lee. The cast featured James Spader as Nick Vanzant, Angela Bassett as Kaela Evers, Robert Forster as A.J. Marley, Lou Diamond Phillips as Yerzy Penalosa, Peter Facinelli as Karl Larson, Robin Tunney as Danika Lund. This movie was shot by cinematographer Lloyd Ahern and scored by composers David C. In the distance future, a medical spaceship called the Nightinggale encounters a distress call, and jumps through about 4,000 light-years to a dying star's system and find a strange survivor with a mysterious alien artifact.

The survivor starts to kill the ship's crew and sabotage the ship, and the artifact turns out to be a bomb made of 9th-dimensional matter.
