Sundance Channel is a cable television network devoted to airing independent films, documentaries, short films, and more, such as news about the latest developments from each year's Sundance Film Festival.

It is a joint venture of Showtime, Universal Studios and Robert Redford. It is an extension of Redford's Sundance Institute, a center in which independent filmmakers can harbor and extend their craft.
