Summer of '69
Summer of '69 is arguably Canadian singer Bryan Adams' biggest hit. It was released on his Reckless (album). During the song, the singer reminisces about buying his first guitar, starting up a band, and "standing on momma's porch." Although the song was a worldwide smash hit in 1985 and remains one of Adams' best-known songs, it has also attracted ridicule because Adams was only nine years old during the summer of 1969.
