The film centers around four twenty-somethings who kidnap a retired mob boss (Walken) in the hopes that they can force him to use his contacts to free one of their girlfriends. They stash him at the parental home (the parents are not present) of another one of their friends, Ira (Johnny Galecki). Ira is unaware of the scheme and is terrified upon finding out about it after he walks in on his four friends and Walken duct-taped to his fathers favorite chair. Some reviewers found it a bit too clever for its own good while others found it an effective mix of comedy and drama.
