Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania
Stroudsburg is a borough located in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, 53 miles (85 km) southeast of Scranton, on the Analomink River. It is five miles (8 km) from the famous Delaware Water Gap. In 1900, 3,450 people inhabited Stroudsburg; in 1910, 4,379; and in 1940, 6,186 people lived here. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 5,756. It is the county seat of Monroe County{{GR|6}}.
