Stoned

Being stoned means to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance, such as cannabis. Consumption of Cannabis indica often results in more of a "body high," whereas Cannabis sativa results in more of a "mental high;" often, the difference between the two is explained as the difference between being "stoned" and "high" or "blazed". this is ofcourse an illegal activity in many countries. yet many would "highly" recommend it.

The word may be related to the Biblical capital punishment of stoning, in the sense of one's being knocked out or unconscious.
