Stone Phillips
Stone Phillips (born December 2, 1954) is the lead anchor of Dateline NBC, a newsmagazine TV show. He has also worked as a substitute anchor for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and Today and as a substitute moderator on Meet the Press.

Phillips was born in Texas City, Texas and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. During college at Yale he was the starting quarterback for the football team. He was also a member of the Yale secret fraternity "Scroll and Key's". He has also hosted Weekend Magazine with Stone Phillips. In 1986, he landed his first major on-air role as a correspondent for 20/20. That year, he also acted as substitute host on Good Morning America and as sports anchor on ABC's World News Sunday.
