Stepney Green tube station

Stepney Green Station is a London Underground station on the District and Hammersmith and City lines, located on the junction of Globe Road and Mile End Road in Stepney.

The station was opened in 1902 by the Whitechapel & Bow Railway, which later became part of the District Line. Hammersmith & City line services (then part of the Metropolitan Line) started in 1936.
