Stephen Sommers

Stephen Sommers (born March 20, 1962) is an American movie director. He majored in Spanish at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. A graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television, he is best known for reinventing and updating classic horror film characters of the 1930s and 1940s.
