Stephen Nichols (born February 19, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an actor who famously stars in soap operas such as Days of Our Lives as Steve "Patch" Johnson

Nichols previously reunited with former Days co-star Mary Beth Evans, the other half of supercouple Patch and Kayla Johnson, on GH from 1996 until Evans' departure in 1999.

Nichols guest-starred on the sitcom The Nanny at friend Charles Shaughnessy's request (Shaughnessy played Shane Donovan on Days of Our Lives in the 1980s and early 1990s). Nichols played a soap star on the fictional soap One Day After Another, a further parody on their days at Days.
